How does step conversion work?

We use real animal stride lengths to calculate equivalent steps. The formula is simple: Animal Steps = Your Steps × (Your Stride / Animal Stride). A giraffe with its 450cm stride would only need 1,667 steps to match your 10,000!

How many animals can I unlock?

There are 15 collectible animals in StepZoo, from tiny snails (1cm stride) to giant giraffes (450cm stride). You unlock new animals as you accumulate lifetime steps, starting from 5,000 steps for the Cat up to 1,000,000 steps for the legendary T-Rex.
